Partner Experience

My best partner experience was with Lyndsay. She always put in work to make sure the tasks and deadlines were met and we split the work applied to the page evenly.

My worst partner experience was with Marcedes. My experience working with her was not negative because of her as a person but because of the lack of effort she put towards our page. I ended up doing but the photography and the writing for the page. It wasn’t a team effort at all. 

Becoming a Leader

Helping Madison with all the senior pictures and what not was a good contribution simply because it was such a time consuming task and tedious task.

I don’t think I really assumed a leadership role in class this year other than taking charge of my page when my partner lacked initiative.

Gathering Facts and Staying Organized

Sticky notes were my BFF this year. I gathered all my info by posting what I need to do and know on different colored sticky notes
My flash drive and sticky notes kept me pretty organized…               

Accomplishments

My biggest accomplishment this year was finishing the JV girls and boys basketball page alone. I gathered pictures, quotes, and stories by myself.

Big Mistake

My biggest mistake was probably procrastinating and interacting with my friends in the class as much as I did. By doing these things I had trouble meeting deadlines and participating in class.

Quotes

“Basketball is a fast paced sport, which is what I love about it; I am able to produce more for the team in transition or score big on fast breaks.” This was one of my better quotes that I got. It went along with the picture that it was commenting on and it was pretty detailed.

Pictures

This was one of my better photos. It showed the action going on in the came and really captured the moment.

My worst photos were the first grouping of pictures I took for JV girls’ basketball. These were bad simply because of the lighting. This picture turned out overexposed and with the ball covering half of the players face.

Headlines

“Serving it Up Courtside
Varsity Girls Spike Towards Victory” was my best headline because it related to the sport and commented on their season in a creative and positive way.

“Freshman & Senior Siblings (+ a quote)” This was my worst headline because it was basic and lacked creativity. 

Full Spreads 

The JV girls and boys basketball page was one of my best spreads. It showed variety within the photogrpahs and captured the actions of the game well.

The page also had good captions for pictures and was interesting to look at.

 The Freshman and Senior sibs spread was one of my least attractive spreads. It wasn't visually appealing, and was very basic in its lay out.
